White and Black is Back

  • White and Black is Back

New York Bridal Fashion Week brought us chic, whimsical and innovative designs, the images of which will be used in wedding collages and scrapbooks for years to come. The bold use of colour, specifically unconventional black, provided a glimpse into the trendsetting brides of 2018. After its short-lived debut in the late 90s, this black and white trend has made a revolutionary comeback. Now hot-off-the-press, this renewed monochrome style has sparked major conversation throughout the wedding industry.

The dichotomous colours of black and white were combined by many high-end designers in fashion week, offering a truly distinctive edge to bridal style. As seen below, Marchesa designs include delicate and elegant black accessories.

Here at Abigail Grace Bridal Accessories, we can incorporate any colour into our accessory designs. Using the finest components, black and white accessories can be custom made to your specification. Hand-made jewellery is the perfect way to tie in coloured accents within a dress.

The below dress by Peter Langner has been embellished with striking black decorative material folds, which also present the illusion of a smaller waist.

This list can not be complete without Carolina Herrera's designs, which are ideal for the unorthodox bride. Jumpsuits and ribbon exude modernity and simultaneously reflect the free-flowing nature of the fabric itself.
