Wedding Pantone Colours 2018

  • Wedding Pantone Colours 2018

The pantone colour scheme of 2017, aptly titled Greenery, has taken over the bridal industry. Cascading and naturalistic floral arrangements and bridesmaid's dresses alike have succumbed to this dreamy viridescent tone.

The colour spectrum is a vast and complex system. Different colours produce different emotions and can alter the energy of our surroundings. Lucia Litman's  exploration of green tones, as seen below,  convey the serenity of 2017 bridal styling.

Pantone colours of 2018 foreshadow the wedding colours schemes of the future. With regards to the aesthetic colour hues that will be trending next year, Pantone have recently released a colour trend report for 2018.

As a response to the consumers increasing fascination with colour, it is expected that bold and daring tones will become more readily accessible. The broad spectrum of colour echoes the air of divergence and variance that has recently taken the clothing industry by storm. Experimentation is only truly achievable to those who are not limited by traditional primary guidlines. However, the age of resistance has begun, as predictions show that we will soon be able to wear whatever color we please, whatever the time of year.

The 2018 palette is bouyant and care-free, as seen from the daring and tempestuous colours below. These have been drawn from the Spring 2018 Top 12 Colour Palette.

Demanding attention and admiration. A confident colour exuding heat, strength and adversity.

Adding bridal accessories can also come in an array of coulours when choosing bespoke wedding headpieces and bridal jewellery. Blooming dahlia tones are present within our majestic bridal headpiece, Autumn, as pictured below. Cascading gold-toned leaves alongside radiant pink and champagne Swarovski glass pearls are the centrepiece of this timeless bridal accessory and showstopping headdress.

Fashion is and ode to experimentation and a passage to self discovery. Part of this discovery is colour and perception. The perception of others does not define your own self validation.
